Jaatara – Terms of Use (India Only)

1. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years or older to use or transact on Jaatara.
• If you are under 18, you may use the Platform only under the supervision of a parent/guardian.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Any activity under your account is deemed to be done by you.

3. India-Only Scope

• All services, deliveries, payments and operations of Jaatara apply only within India.
• Jaatara does not operate internationally and does not comply with or follow any international commerce regulations.
• Orders placed outside India or requesting international delivery will be automatically cancelled.

4. Platform Role (Marketplace Model)

• All product listings, prices, warranties, and delivery promises are the responsibility of the respective sellers.
• Jaatara does not own, control, or guarantee the products listed by sellers.
• Any disputes between buyer and seller must be resolved between them, though the Platform may assist.

5. Orders & Payments

• An order placed by a user is an offer; the seller may accept or cancel it.
• Prices may change due to errors or updates; cancelled orders will be refunded.
• All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) using available payment methods.
• Jaatara is not liable for payment failures caused by banks, payment gateways, or network issues.

6. Delivery

• Deliveries are available only to serviceable pin codes within India.
• Estimated delivery times are approximations and may vary based on logistics, weather, or unforeseen delays.
• Risk and ownership of the product pass to the buyer at the time the seller hands the product to the delivery partner.

7. User Conduct

• Upload illegal, harmful, offensive, misleading, or copyrighted content.
• Interfere with the Platform's operations (e.g., hacking, scraping, spamming).
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts.
• Engage in any activity prohibited under Indian law.

8. Content & Intellectual Property

• All content on the Platform (images, text, graphics, etc.) is protected by applicable laws.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially use Platform content without written permission.
• Content uploaded by users may be used by Jaatara for promotional or operational purposes.

9. Privacy

• Jaatara respects your privacy and handles personal data per Indian data-protection laws.
• Your information may be shared with partners only for order processing, fraud prevention, or compliance with legal requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

• Product quality, warranty, or performance issues (responsibility of the seller).
• Delays in delivery due to external factors.
• Losses arising from incorrect product information provided by sellers.
• Any damages arising from your use of the Platform.

11. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

• Policies for cancellation, returns and refunds are specified for each product category.
• Refunds will be processed in INR within the time indicated in Platform policies.
• Refund mode will depend on the payment method used.

13. Suspension or Termination

• You violate any Terms
• You engage in fraud or suspicious activity
